What is in the box

  • One nylon collar in the size and color you picked
  • Reflective stitching along both edges
  • A metal buckle and a metal D-ring for your leash

The leash is not included.

Step 1: Measure the neck

Wrap a soft tape measure around your puppy’s neck, where the collar will sit. Add two fingers of room.

Supplier sizes (strap width x strap length): S is 1.5 x 40 cm. M is 2.0 x 50 cm. L is 2.5 x 60 cm. XL is 2.5 x 70 cm. These are strap lengths, not neck ranges.

Step 2: Put it on

  1. Open the buckle and slide the collar around your puppy’s neck.
  2. Turn the D-ring so it sits at the back of the neck, ready for the leash.
  3. Click the buckle shut and give it a gentle tug to check it is closed.

Step 3: Do the two-finger check

Slide two fingers flat under the collar. They should fit snugly. If you can fit more, the collar is too loose. If two fingers won’t fit, it is too tight.

If the fit is wrong, don’t use the collar outside yet. Email us with your puppy’s neck measurement and we’ll help you sort it out.

Step 4: Clip on the leash and head out

  • Clip the leash to the metal D-ring.
  • Carry a flashlight on night potty trips. The stitching reflects your beam back.
  • Keep your puppy on a leash near roads, every time.

Check the fit every week

Puppies grow fast. Do the two-finger check once a week. When it gets tight, it’s time for the next size.

What it does and what it doesn’t do

  • The reflective stitching helps your puppy be seen by car headlights and flashlights on night walks.
  • It reflects light. It doesn’t make its own, so it needs a light source to shine.
  • It is not a GPS tracker or an ID tag.
Take it off in the crate unless you’re watching. Collars can snag on crate wire or bedding. Put it back on before you go outside.

When to contact us

  • It arrived damaged or something is missing.
  • The buckle won’t click shut or open.
  • You received the wrong size or color.
  • You’re unsure about the fit after measuring.
